It’s hanami (cherry blossom viewing) season in Japan, which means only one thing…it’s perfectly acceptable to get drunk midday at a park (and be blown away by how beautiful the trees are…but really, it’s all about the beer)!

The beer is pretty important!
At least the sakura gets everyone out for a good sociable afternoon… evening… night.

Waki — The girls next to us (who looked like they came after a night of fun at kabuki-cho to yoyogi park) brought that deformed doll and left it on the floor with a bottle of tequila… The trees are pretty, but with beer they are definitely prettier!

Winekappa — Totally agree…it’s amazing how quickly the day rolls around when u’re drinking beer and hanging out!

Wow! Sakura is beautiful!!! I miss it! You know what, it will snow on Sun this week in Chicago….I’m sick of this weather.
